If you received a One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS or WhatsApp without performing any action on the BonusLink App or Website, it means someone may have entered your mobile number by mistake, or an attempt may be made to access an account using your number or a mobile number that previously belonged to another user.
Please do not panic. Your account is safe as long as the OTP code is not shared.
🛑 Immediate Actions
1. Do NOT share the OTP
Never share your OTP with anyone, including individuals claiming to be from BonusLink.
BonusLink staff will never ask for your OTP to access your account or for any unrelated purpose.
For mobile number update requests, OTP may only be used as part of a secure verification process. If you do not have WhatsApp, our Member Interaction Centre agent may contact you via phone call.
2. Do NOT click on any links
If the message contains a link, do not click on it. It may be a phishing attempt designed to steal your personal or account information.
3. Change your password if necessary
If you suspect any unusual activity or feel your account may be at risk:
- Log in to the official BonusLink App or Website
- Go to Account → Security → Change Password
- Update your password immediately
